About the Artist
“My artwork is inspired by nature—the soil, fauna, textures and landscapes of southern coastal as well as northern Thailand. For several years now I have been creating hand-built animal and human figures from clay, wood, and other found materials. When you take home a ChinClay piece, you are taking back a capsule of the pulse and force of nature. As in the unpredictable process of nature, I use a range of techniques, especially fire, to create or reveal unexpected beauty.”
